Q. Can I cancel my Title at anytime?
A. Yes, after the first calendar year. The full balance of the Title Premium will be refunded, less a 25% cancellation fee.

Q. What guarantee does a Title Holder have, in respect to the possible increase of the annual fee?
A. In order to offer total piece of mind and security to our Title Holders, Title Golf warrants never to increase the annual fee more than 10% in any one year.

Q. Can my Title be held in an off-shore company name?
A. Yes the Title can be held in an off-shore company, but there can only be one named person, together with his or her Spouse, as the nominee users of the Title.

Q. Who can be my partner with the Title?
A. Your partner can only be your spouse.

Q. My certificate is valid a life-time, what happens if I change my spouse?
A. The current certificate will have to be renewed, so please contact our office to make these changes.

Q. I have lived together with my girlfriend for 13 years, does she not count as my spouse.
A. Title Golf may accept a common law husband or wife if it can be clearly proved with relative information. This decision however, remains at the discretion of Title Golf.

Q. Having a membership in an ordinary Golf Club would allow me to participate in tournaments and compete against other golfers, is that possible when being a Title Holder with Title Golf?
A. Yes, Title Golf arranges two exclusive tournaments every year for its Title Holders.

A. The essence in our concept is freedom and flexibility, which means that our tournaments and events will be held at different courses.

A. Title Golf offers a flexible golf Title that is available to all developments and homeowners within or outside a golf development, therefore providing a unique selling benefit for developers and estate agents alike, where the Title is included in the sale of the property.

Q. I have seen a property at a real estate agent in Algarve, which has a Title Golf Option attached to the property. What will happen to my Title if I buy this property and eventually decide to sell it?
A. You will have two choices when selling your property. You can take your Title with you, and have a new Title Golf Option attached to the property you are selling or, you can transfer the original certificate to the new owner by contacting Title Golf, where a new certificate will be issued in the name of the new Title Holder.

Q. I am a UK resident looking for a house in the Algarve, with the purpose to play golf frequently, but I would not like to live “on a golf course”. However, most of the courses only allows you to buy a Title if you are investing in a house/apartment on their golf course. Would Title Golf enable to buy a Title but live where I want?
A. Yes, not only can you live wherever you want, but you are also able to play wherever you want being a Title Holder. The whole ideology behind Title Golf is total freedom and flexibility, therefore every house can be a golf home.

Q. The certificate issued to me as a Title Holder, says it is a life-time certificate. What happens to my Title if I die?
A. Your Title forms part of the estate of the deceased, and will be passed on according to the official request of the Title Holder. If no specific request has been made, the Title is automatically passed to the next of kin.

Q. When the price for the Title Premium increases, can I then sell my Title for the amount of the new Title Premium?
A. Yes. Your Title Holder Certificate will remain an asset to you, and can be sold for the price of the current Title Premium.

Q. When I become a Title Holder, what do I receive from Title Golf?
A. Title Golf provides you with an authorised life-time Title Holder Certificate, and a Title Holder card for both you and your spouse. You will also receive our Newsletter once a month, where all dates for Tournaments and Events are listed, together with various offers that we negotiated for our Title Holders.

Use of Title

Q. How does Title Golf manage to provide a golf Title that include the use of so many course?
A. Title Golf provides a unique Title, in the fact that it includes the use of nearly all courses in Portugal and Spain. This is possible because Title Golf operates independently of all courses, and therefore offers total flexibility to which course you play.

A. You can play as many times as you like.

Q. Can I play with my friends?
A. Yes, as a Titleholder you are able to include up to two guests while playing along with you. Your guests will then avail of preferred rates, which vary from course to course.

Bookings

Q. My friends and I have our own little club where we have tournaments twice a year, can I book this tournament via the Title Golf booking concierge?
A. Yes, you can always book as many people as you like via our Title Golf booking concierge, but only two of your guests will avail of the preferred rates.

Q. How can I be guaranteed that I can play at a specific course at a specific date?
A. No differently to any other member at most golf courses, by making your booking some weeks in advance. You can always call our booking concierge and check the availability at the specific courses, and if the required Tee times are not available, you will be offered the choice of available courses. Total freedom and flexibility guarantees, that you will always be able to play golf whenever you want, even if your first choice of course was not available.

Q. What happens if I book a Tee time and do not show up?
A. A Title Holder is obliged to cancel his/her Tee bookings within 7 days, thereafter they are liable to pay for the full costs of the green fees. All bookings made are guaranteed with a Title Holders Certificate number, and will only be charged if the Title Holder and guests do not use the Tee times booked.
